Everyone at this shop was most accommodating. I took my truck to juneau from haines for supplies, the starter went bad on my trip, they squeezed me in when no one else would and got it replaced so I could make my ferry home following day. Everyone was super kind, helpful and personable. They got it replaced in no time and was super affordable. I’d recommend these guys any day of the week and if I’m ever in juneau with car trouble, I know where to go.

Their prices are a little higher than others for some basic stuff. For example, $100+ for an oil change. However, if you have a Ford, this is the best place to go. Their service as far as calling back or updating you, and having options for ordering parts, is probably the best in town. They know their business and do it well, so you're paying for it. You can save a few bucks for lesser service elsewhere.

The guys are great. I was driving from Anchorage to California and my car was acting up after getting to Juneau. I called over 10 spots before finding affordable auto and they were able to get me in that same day. The had their two best mechanics inspect, diagnosis and replace the parts that same day. The guys seem to provide quality work. $285 is a high price for a front end alignment. I could definitely see using them again in the future but maybe not for general maintenance items due to the cost. But for the specialty work where paying extra for good quality matters, they seem to be the best game in town.
